Catholic Women Preach: Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

I’m honored to be the featured preacher on Catholic Women Preach for Sunday, July 12, 2020, which is the Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time this year.

It’s a familiar Gospel story – the parable of the Sower. It’s my deep hope that the soil is rich enough right now to support sustained progress toward racial healing.

All production credit goes to my dear husband, Marc, who set up the camera, background, lighting, and audio. Thanks, honey!

Catholic Women Preach is an innovative project designed to address some of the most pressing challenges facing the Church today by responding to Pope Francis’ call for broader and more active engagement of the baptized in the preaching mission of the Church. This project is a deeply faithful, hopeful and joyful initiative intended to build up the Church. Catholic Women Preach offers the theologically informed perspectives of Catholic women on the Sunday readings readings and on some feast days.
